- We are building with a patched JEM and cannot officially declare M4 until we have a real build from JEM, which will hopefully be in line for the January 4th Europa date.
- JSF problems with EMF API change – 168484 - Raghu?

- Out of memory issues with Sun JDK and -XX:MaxPermSize=256m - Kathy - Even 512 did not help, still investigating.
- Follow 168285 if interested.
- Only teams dropping critical or blocker defects need to re-smoke the build for Friday.

- Need to investigate re-enabling these tests for M5. We will publish these results with every weekly declared build.

- The Adopter Usage Reports are posted for component owners...
- To ensure no one is using code they should not be using.
- To prioritize which code you plan to make API.
- The Extension Point Usage Reports are also posted. The instructions for adopters on how to contribute can be found here.
- Stay tuned in 2007 for automated test coverage report numbers based on using TPTP's line coverage analysis tools. Also investigating cross referencing the data from the usage reports to detail where test coverage must be improved.

- WTP 2.0 - Ongoing triaging of RFEs for inclusion in the plan.
- WTP 2.0 M4 - Function test and compatibility test completed successfully.
- Apache Axis2 - The Axis2 integration effort is in progress. See RFE 165664. Bi-weekly meetings are held to discuss progress thru use cases, design and development. Use cases and requirements drafted, with proposed priorities and target milestones. Secondary RFEs are being opened to track the individual requirements. Lahiru Sandakith (WSO2) has developed the first round of new plugins for Axis2 and expects to attach them as patches to the RFE(s) shortly.
- Eclipsecon 2007 - Three proposals submitted by the Web services team:
- Web Services tools in IBM Rational Application Developer v7.0 - NEW.
- Understanding the Web services development platform - a case study on adding the Apache Axis2 Web services runtime in WTP - NEW.
- Introduction to Web Services Tools in WTP - ACCEPTED. We will approach Christopher Judd for interest in collaborating with him on his similar proposal, Consuming and producing web services with Web Tools (WTP).
- We may also submit demos and/or BOF sessions to EclipseCon 2007.
- Java EE Component Team
- Dali JPA
- SDK build has been fixed with much effort by Tran and David
- Final step is to get Core tests passing and integrated into the build, at which point all of Dali will be integrated
- Made final decisions on UI direction for 1.0. Approach is similar to .5, but with semantic differences and more direction on how it will work with an editor in the future
- Neil will be out until January with his new baby girl. Karen Moore will be generally available to cover as needed.
