- This page outlines a proposal for how the current Higgins Components page will be redesigned/repurposed to be the Higgins download page.
- Definitions:
- A Solution is a specific combination of Higgins Components that, when assembled and deployed, result in either an infrastructure-level service, or an end-user application.
- A Sub-Solution is a specific higher level functional Higgins Components that as a standalone deployment can provide an infrastructure-level service.
- A Component is a low level Higgins Components that serves as functional building block in support of Higgins Solutions defined above.
- The below sections outline the major content points in prioritized order of appearance on the new Higgins download page.
Opening Paragraph
This page provides an easy one-stop location to download the code you need to be successful with your Higgins based project. The organization of this page has downloads in a progression starting with complete Higgins based solutions listed first, followed by functional sub-solutions and then finishing with individual Higgins component building blocks.
Solution Downloads
- This section will display a table that will enable the user to download the all the Higgins solutions. The columns in this download table will include the following data elements:
- Solution Name - with link to existing solution wiki page
- Download - with link to page for download/installation instructions and access.
- Version - list version number and date of release
- Solution owner - link to solution owner name

- Version - list version number and date of release
- Solution owner - link to solution owner name
- Build status - an LED (red/green) indicator as to pass/fail status of last night nightly build.
- Test status - an LED (red/green) indicator as to pass/fail status of last automated smoke test for the component.
