When a Higgins instance opens a context (other than the root "user" context), it should search all of the facets in the context being opened and for each facet f:

starting at the root "user" context's sole facet sole-f and de-referencing each facet reference it contains (and recursively each facet reference the referenced facet contains, etc.) f2 compare the identity attributes of f and f2. If they match add a facet reference to f2 whose value is a reference to f.
