• 2.0 Maintenance Stream
  • Richard has created a request for a branch and build: bug 195816
  • We will have a GMF 2.0.1 maintenance release for August 31 as requested by Borland.
  • Depending on need, we can use the GMF 2.0.1 maintenance release for the Europa fall release, or create an GMF 2.0.2.
  • IBM ok with the August maintenance release, IBM hopes to identify bugs to target to 2.0.1 this week.

• Ganymede Planning
  • We will release a GMF 2.1 for Ganymede.
    • If we can justify a need to break API we can call 3.0.
  • As a start, Richard will copy the Europa Plan Wiki page so we can start on a Ganymede draft plan.
  • We will need to work out the themes:
    • Usability
    • Documentation
  • We need to work on priorities
  • Tooling wish list
    • bug 146535
    • generate Java 5
    • increase generator flexibility - e.g. EditHelpers, incrementality, etc.
    • dynamic EMF
    • improve packaging (releng)
    • improve lite runtime
  • Runtime
    • Spent time cleaning up and categorizing Bugzillas
    • IBM will have a preliminary list of wish list items this week.

• Bugzilla
  • We need to update target of remaining 2.0 bugs (5 @ 2.0M7, 10 @ 2.0)
    • Richard to email, IBM cleanup complete.
