Current build is very complicated due to mixture of CVS and git (for github code)
Doing 3.4 from CVS and 3.4.1 from git can be assumed to cause problems
Given Markus' current workload the move should be done immediately
CVS (not synced with git) can stay around read-only
Release review scheduled for Oct 20. Must have review materials to EF by Oct 13 cob. Email to mailing list soliciting slideware, New and Noteworthy contributions has been sent. Scott will collate, edit, and produce slideware and N&N on 13th.
