Hubert persented his work on Service groups for the Data Manager. We are using the Muse implementation of Service Groups that includes an implementation of persistence. Service properties may be used to search for services that match specific criteria. The COSMOS broker is an example of a service group. The data managers will register their EPRs with the broker. The domain uses the same implementation to permit its discovery by data managers or clients. We discussed the use cases and identified a couple of new ones which Hubert will add.
We discussed how we will implement 212187 and 212189. Hubert suggested that JT implement these using the i7 data manager implementation. We were unable to complete this discussion so Mark agreed to schedule a call for tomorrow to discuss further.
