Announcements
- Current WTP Bug Day bugs (~43) How did it go? Not much activity this time. Start preparing now for this month's on the 28th.
- Formation of "Architecture Working Group", to be lead by Tim deBoer. He'll be setting up meetings starting next week, at least for those wanting to help with core deliverables ... but eventually would involve all Project Leads. Konstantin K, Cameron, Rob F, and Nitin volunteered to join core group.
- Update our high level architecture document (Needs updating)
- Make current with how things currently are (add, JSF, JPA, DTP, etc.)
- Make current with how we want things to be (improved componentization, etc).
- Make a Projects View
- Make a Features View
- Make recommendations that are important to release 3.0, such as
- Can we install and/or enable proper capabilities for various install scenarios?
- Should/can some plugins move to better components/features?
- Work with project leads for the "bottoms up" perspective, and address what's realistic

-
- Branching Strategy
- Please review and comment on the WTP How to: Branching Policy and Practices guide.
- In general, the minimum is if you branch a plug-in to branch all the plug-ins in the corresponding map file. It is fine to branch everything if you choose as well. We may need to reorganize map files slightly and we can investigate that on a case by case basis. This is intended to be a living document and open to evolutions and improvements.
- Instructions for tagging existing and new WTP wiki pages can be found at WTP's Category page; remember, we can create subcategories as well
