• This month's Bug Day is tomorrow, August 31st. Bugs should be chosen with care. Participating components/subprojects are required to have contact information listed on the current BugDay page.

WTP 3.0

• Eclipse 3.4 Project Plan for the Ganymede Simultaneous Release.

• Web Tools Platform Release 3.0 Requirements and WTP 3.0 Plans

• Project/Component Leads: Please review the enhancement bugzilla requests logged by the community and triage them. Add the keyword ‘plan’ to those bugs you wish to consider for 3.0, and if they are significant/major items, add them to the requirements doc. Also, move items in the requirements doc that are in the ‘proposed’ stage to ‘committed’ stage based on your current plan. We should be ready to publish the requirements document on September 4.
• Complete WTP 3.0 planning by middle of September with feedback from community taken into consideration.

WTP Sub-Project Refactoring will force us to update the website and Bob F will set up the infrstructure, but we will need components/projects to fix their new project landing pages.

• Please review and comment on the WTP How to: Branching Policy and Practices guide.

In general, the minimum is if you branch a plug-in to branch all the plug-ins in the corresponding map file. It is fine to branch everything if you choose as well. We may need to reorganize map files slightly and we can investigate that on a case by case basis. This is intended to be a living document and open to evolutions and improvements.
